The Kingdom Nation of the Father here on earth, embodied in Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy as his Appointed Son, is the complete antithesis of the world.
Where the world ensures the survival of the corrupt, the dishonest in the Kingdom must make a complete about-turn or be weeded out and thrown away.
While the world believes the rat-race is a natural part of the run to success, in the Kingdom the more one is humble, obedient, submissive and loyal, the quicker one’s rise and recognition.
There is a particular, very keen culture in the Kingdom Nation, which is based on the very values found in Scripture – love, peace, joy, goodness, meekness, temperance, long-suffering and faith.
But in the world, a person having these traits is often trampled upon, taken advantage of, bullied or called names.
The opposite is true in the Kingdom. If your character lack these things, you stick out like a sore thumb. In fact, these traits are what define a Kingdom citizen – the fruits of a truly repented spirit – the very character of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In this Kingdom of God on earth led by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the Words of the Father found in the Bible, are not just words. They are laws written in the hearts and minds of its citizens.
Here in the Kingdom, we know that the flesh is incongruent with the spirit. We know that what the flesh wants is not what the spirit wants, and vice versa. We experience this tugging of the flesh against the spirit every day – what we want against what the Father wants. And every day we choose which side of the tug of war we want to hold tight to and pull.
The Bible says that the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the spirit what is contrary to the flesh, but they are in conflict with each other. (Gal. 5:17)
And this is the core of the Kingdom’s culture. This daily decision to choose is our way of life. We understand it. We accept it. And we aspire to become spiritually law-abiding Kingdom citizens. We choose the spiritual side of the tug of war.
In return, we have all that comes with choosing the spirit – love, goodness, gentleness, kindness, peace and joy in our lives that surpasses understanding. And we have a model in all these, the Son, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.
