Staying in the Path of the Almighty Father’s Will

The fulfillment of the Word of God has come to pass. As Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the Appointed Son of God, has constantly preached, the days of man are over and this is now the Day of the Lord.

We have been made witnesses to the judgment of God for those who trample upon His Kingdom and His Appointed Son. Amidst the numerous catastrophes that have befallen upon the world, Pastor Apollo has assured us that the righteous are sheltered in the arms of the Almighty Father. As long as we stay on the path of righteousness just like the Appointed Son, the Father will give us protection, guidance, and in the time to come, eternal life.

In Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s Sounds of Worship program broadcasted last May 17, 2020, Pastor Apollo reiterated the importance of staying on the path of God’s Will.

“God made us with a freedom of choice. Baptism of water is very easy. It is very easy to say, ‘Lord I will follow Your will from now on.’ What is not easy is the Baptism of Fire because the Baptism of Fire says that you will go through tribulation, persecution, accusation, and every fire that is there to try your faith, to try to burn while you are on your path of doing the Father’s Will.”

As Romans 8:35 says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

Indeed, many have entered into the Kingdom of God but have fallen short in proving their testimony. They succumbed to the temptations of the devil and went back to their wicked ways.

“When the fire comes, it seeks to separate you from your faith in God or from doing God’s Will. Anything that tends to separate you from believing, from doing the Father’s Will, from believing the Appointed Son, the devil will use all of that. Tribulation, accusation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, danger, sword, death…”

Today, the devil is throwing all kinds of accusations and persecutions in a futile attempt to tarnish the name of the Appointed Son. Even the people who were with us before are now being used against the Kingdom. That is why, Pastor Apollo is reminding us to guard our faith, strengthen our loyalty and be more than conquerors.

“How can you be more than conquerors? When all of these were used as elements to try you but you still stayed. You still stayed strong. You stayed in the path of God. You did not weaken. You were made stronger than before. When doubts filled the air but you still believed so strongly that you were able to cast all the doubts away.”

The enemy operates using doubt. Thus, no matter how arduous, challenging, and steep the road towards eternal life may seem, we should always remember one golden rule — never question the Will of the Almighty Father. The Appointed Son has taught us that even if we may not understand His ways, we should always use our faith and continue to obey.

“Doubt is the enemy of faith. The devil will try to block your path by persecution, accusations, distress, peril, nakedness, and sword. But when you are able to overcome all of these and you stayed as strong as I am strong before you, then you are called more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Nothing shall separate me from the love of Christ. Nothing can separate me from doing the Father’s will, which is staying in the path of God.”

Truly, the path to eternal life is a long and narrow way. As sons and daughters of the Almighty Father, we must not only decide to stay in the path of the Father’s Will. Just like the Appointed Son, we must also possess the determination to endure until the end.
