Recently Pastor, we conducted successful Keepers’ Club activities here in Nagoya, Japan, gathering young people in a BBQ party.
Nagoya City is one of the most developed, most industrialized and most advanced cities in Japan, not only in terms of its economy but because it produces talented and potential individuals for the country.
The activity was attended by pure Japanese young people from different universities and colleges and other mixed races from Brazil, Peru and Sri Lanka. It was indeed a very great time of fun and learning, and meeting new friends despite the language barrier, thou some of them can speak both English and Japanese fluently.
One of the visitors, Pastor, whose name is Tokoshiki is a sophomore student at the Japan Fukushi University. He is also a leader and an officer in their school. He was very happy to know about the KCI’s mission and vision and even has plans to introduce the club to their university.
Another one named Naoko is also a leader in his Junior High School, gofted with a brilliant mind that he often represents his school in academic and leadership contests.
Both of them have the same desire and longing for an organization like Keepers’ Club International to help young people and to change the world to become a healthy and better place.
Japan is very, very modern in its technology which makes the Japanese people lack sociability in their relationships, resulting to high rates of depression and suicides. But now, these young people found hope through you, Pastor and have found the time to engage themselves for this great cause. They were very excited to join KCI’s activities. They are even inviting their friends to also join the club.
Indeed, the light of the Son is unstoppable in spreading to the Land of the Rising Sun and to the whole world. We claim more talents and skills for the Father’s glory through the Son.
