Recently, Pastor, the Sonshine Media Network International, in partnership with the Sonshine Philippines Movement conducted a tree planting activity at Brgy. Hulo, Pililla, Rizal.
The said environmental activity planted 4,000 narra seedlings at a planting site provided by the Municipality of Pililla Rizal, while the narra seedlings were provided by the Laguna Lake Development Authority.
Pastor, hundreds of SPM volunteers, mostly coming from the National Capital Region, members of the Keeper’s Club, government workers coming from the Municipal Hall of Pililla, Rizal as well as soldiers, police officers, firefighters, teachers, students and even chairmen of the various barangays in Pililla helped the tree planting project of SMNI dubbed as I-Shine.
We thank the Almighty Father that government leaders welcomed the SMNI and SPM in their offices because they know how serious and responsible we are when it comes to the restoration of our environment.
Thank you, Pastor for being our model and for teaching us that when we love the Almighty Father, we must also love all of His creation, especially our environment.
That is why a memorandum of agreement was signed between SMNI, SPM, LLDA and the Local Government of Pililla, Rizal to strengthen its partnership in helping and restoring our environment.
Pililla Mayor Dan Masinsin extends his gratitude to you, Pastor as the head of SPM for the great concern you have for our environment. He noted that the tree planting activity in their municipality is a big help in preventing the problem of siltation in Laguna de Bay.
Pastor, the SMNI will be conducting more tree planting activities together with the SPM volunteers and Keepers’ Club members in various locations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao in the coming months.
We will be giving you, Pastor more updates as we continue to proliferate to our neighbors the joy in restoring the beauty of our environment as responsible and concerned sons and daughters of the Almighty Father.
